Kuala Lumpur, 2 Nov – The recently concluded Succulent Fair at 1 Mont Kiara Mall, originally slated for a four-day affair, witnessed an unprecedented extension to five days, driven by an overwhelming response from plant enthusiasts and shoppers alike. Hosted by Cactus Boy Nursery, the event showcased an extensive array of cacti, succulents, and indoor leafy plants, drawing in crowds eager to explore the beauty and diversity of these botanical wonders.
The fair, curated by Cactus Boy Nursery, coincided with the flourishing season for cacti, presenting a breathtaking sight of blossoming cacti that captivated the attendees. As an added delight, complimentary succulents were generously distributed to shoppers who made purchases, engaged with the nursery’s Facebook page, and left glowing 5-star reviews on their Google page.
One of the highlights of the event was a series of free workshops and educational sessions conducted by the owner, “Ah Boy” himself. These sessions covered a range of topics essential for plant enthusiasts:

Additionally, in an exciting development, a Korean Hair Salon in the mall, La fiorire Hair Salon has become a retail hub for some of the exquisite cacti and succulents from the fair. This strategic collaboration allows shoppers to browse and acquire these unique plants while enjoying their hairdressing appointments or savouring a cup of coffee at the salon’s cafe.
Ryan Fong, 1 Mont Kiara’s senior executive for Advertising & Promotions, expressed immense pride in the fair’s success, which saw a staggering 2,000 visitors over the extended five-day period. “The diversity and affordability of the plant varieties showcased at the fair surpassed expectations.
